Wire Rope Thimble 2–5mm — A4 316 Marine Grade Stainless

Heavy-duty A4 stainless steel wire rope thimbles — teardrop-shaped eyelets that sit inside a rope or cable loop to protect against chafing, kinking and crushing. Forming an eye over a thimble massively extends the working life of wire rope at every shackle, hook and anchor point.

How to fit

Fold the wire rope around the thimble so the rope sits in the grooved channel. Secure the loop with matching wire rope clamps (such as our duplex or simplex clamps) on the dead-end side, ensuring the U-bolt saddle bears on the live (load-bearing) side of the rope.
