Why choose these Hex Full Nuts

Our Hex Full Nuts are manufactured from A4 (316) marine grade stainless steel to DIN 934 — the long-standing European standard for the standard-height (m-form) hex nut. A4-316 contains added molybdenum that gives substantially better resistance to chloride corrosion than the A2 grade, making it the right choice for boats, marine fittings, swimming pools, coastal joinery and any installation exposed to salt water, salt air or de-icing salts. Full thread height provides the maximum recommended thread engagement when paired with a matching bolt.

How to fit

Thread the nut onto a standard metric bolt or stud and tighten with a hex spanner or socket to the bolt manufacturer’s recommended torque. Pair with a plain washer to protect the work surface and spread the load, and use a spring or serrated washer (or a nyloc nut) where the joint will see vibration.
