Security TORX Driver Bits TX10H–TX45H — 1/4in Pin-TORX
Why choose these security TORX driver bits
Security (pin-TORX) screws have a small post in the centre of the recess that blocks a standard TORX bit. These insert bits are machined with a matching central hole and a 1/4-inch hex shank, so they fit any standard impact driver, ratchet or bit holder — letting you install or remove pin-in security fasteners cleanly without rounding the head.
Sizes available
Seven sizes covering the most-used metric screw heads: TX10H (M3), TX20H (M4), TX25H (M5), TX27H (M5.5), TX30H (M6), TX40H (M8) and TX45H (M10). Each bit is hardened S2 tool steel with a precise tip for a positive grip on the screw recess.
Pack options
Available as a single bit, a pair, a four-pack or a ten-pack — useful whether you’re keeping a spare in the toolbox or kitting out a team. Mix sizes in one checkout to qualify for free UK delivery on orders over £20.
Typical uses
Removing or fitting security-head screws on electrical panels, public-facing fixtures, signage, kitchen white goods, playground equipment, motorbike fairings, computer hardware and any tamper-resistant fastening using pin-in TORX heads.
How to fit
Insert the bit into a 1/4-inch hex bit holder, impact driver or screwdriver handle. Engage the bit fully into the screw recess so the central pin clears the bit’s bore. Apply firm downward pressure as you turn to keep the bit seated — security TORX heads cam out far less than slotted or Phillips, so steady pressure is usually enough.
