Why choose these stainless steel pop blind rivets

Pop or blind rivets create a permanent, vibration-proof fixing from one side of the workpiece — ideal where you can’t reach the back of a joint. These DIN 7337 Type A rivets are made from A2 stainless steel throughout (body and mandrel), giving excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor, automotive, marine-adjacent and damp-environment use. The dome head sits neatly against the surface for a clean professional finish.

Choose from five diameters — 3mm, 3.2mm, 4mm, 4.8mm and 5mm — and nine lengths from 6mm up to 25mm. Pick the diameter to suit your drilled hole and a length that covers the combined material thickness plus enough shank to form a proper back-side head (typically the grip plus 1.5× the diameter).

How to fit

Drill a hole the same diameter as the rivet shank through both layers of material. Push the rivet through, insert the mandrel into a hand or pneumatic rivet gun, and squeeze the handles — the mandrel pulls a head on the blind side and snaps off flush. A2 stainless mandrels may require slightly more pulling force than aluminium, so use a heavy-duty riveter for the 4.8mm and 5mm sizes.
