Brass is naturally corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic and electrically conductive, with the warm yellow tone of traditional hardware. It also won’t spark, making it the right choice for fuel or atmospheric jobs where steel is unsuitable.

Bolt diameters M4, M5, M6 and M8 across ten length options from 10mm up to 75mm. A nut-only option in M3 is also stocked for replacements.

How to fit

Drop the bolt through the workpiece, slip on the washer and run the nut down by hand. Tighten with two spanners to firm but not excessive torque — brass is softer than steel and will deform if over-torqued. Use a steel washer under the head if the workpiece face is also brass and you need to spread load further.
