Flanged Nyloc Nuts M4–M10 — A2 Stainless Steel DIN 6926
Why choose these Flanged Nyloc Nuts
Our Flanged Nyloc Nuts are manufactured from A2 (18/8) stainless steel to DIN 6926, combining three features in a single component: a corrosion-resistant stainless body, an integral serrated flange that replaces a separate washer and bites into the joint surface, and a nylon insert that grips the bolt thread to resist vibration loosening. The result is a faster, neater and more secure fixing for any joint exposed to moisture, weather or vibration — ideal for marine, outdoor and engineering use where a zinc-plated nut would corrode.
Sizes available
- M4 / 4mm — small brackets, panels and trim
- M5 / 5mm — furniture, signage and light fabrication
- M6 / 6mm — handrails, gates and general fabrication
- M8 / 8mm — marine deck fittings, automotive and trailer fixings
- M10 / 10mm — structural and heavy-duty applications
Pack options
Each size is available as a single unit sample, or in packs of 5, 10 or 20. Use the variation selectors above to choose the exact combination you need.
Typical uses
- Marine deck and rail fittings, boat trailers and outdoor pontoons
- Garden furniture, fencing and decking where stainless corrosion resistance is needed
- Automotive, motorcycle and trailer assembly subject to vibration
- Workshop and engineering fixings where a separate washer would be slower to fit
How to fit
Place the nut onto a standard metric bolt or stud with the flanged, serrated face against the work surface. Tighten with a hex spanner or socket — the bolt thread will cut into the nylon insert as it engages, producing the locking action. Use a clean, undamaged bolt thread for best results; nyloc nuts are designed to be installed and removed only a limited number of times before the locking action weakens.
