Item Description:

Quality Door Handle Circlips: are made of durable, hardened metal for a strong hold and to last long. The circlips are used to retain the spring in the door handle. A circlip is a type of retaining ring or fastener that takes the form of a flexible, open-ended ring, made from metal. This is a very common size of circlip found on many types of internal door handles with simple mounting requirements.

Quality Door Handle Springs: Pack of 6 Door Handle Flat Springs 2.5Turns, 2.5mm thick replacement spring that will make your door handle as new. Long life door lever replacement springs – gives handle a quality feel. Black coated springs are suitable for both left or right handled handles. The springs are zinc coated followed by a black passive coating.

How to use circlips: Most applications which need a part to pivot, spin, or turn, where a bearing is used, will need a circlip or lock ring fastening. They work as a load-bearing shoulder which positions and holds mechanical parts. They provide continuous radial force and are secure against high rotational speeds because they are retained within the groove. The open ends of the circlip create a spring pressure effect which allows them to fit securely into a grooved channel on a circular component. Usually, each opposing end of the ring will have a drag with a small hole through it. These holes are where circlip pliers’ tips fit to remove or install circlips, expanding or contracting the ring so it can fit in a groove inside a bore or around a shaft.

How to use springs: Check the orientation of the existing internal hook compared with the external hook, where is situated. Check the spring thickness and the height when laid flat.
